Overview
The Overview page shows how your entire organization is progressing. It's a read-only view designed for browsing and drilling into company-wide objectives.
Purpose
While the Dashboard focuses on your personal context, Overview shows the big picture:
- All objectives across the workspace
- How objectives align to each other
- Team hierarchy and progress
- Overall cycle health
Use Overview in leadership meetings to review progress across the organization.
Alignment Tree
The alignment tree visualizes how objectives connect:
- Top-level objectives (company goals) appear at the root
- Aligned objectives are shown as children, indented below
- Click on any objective to expand its details
- Progress rolls up visually through the hierarchy
This view helps you understand how team efforts contribute to company-wide goals.
Filtering
Use the filters at the top of the page to focus your view:
- By team — Show only objectives for a specific team
- By status — Focus on active, completed, or at-risk objectives
- By owner — See what a specific person is responsible for
Progress Indicators
Each objective in the Overview shows:
- Progress percentage (based on Key Result completion)
- Status badge (Draft, Active, Completed, Abandoned)
- Owner avatar
- Team association
- Number of Key Results
Color-coded confidence indicators help you quickly spot objectives that need attention.
Drill-Down Navigation
From Overview, you can:
- Click an objective to open its detail panel
- Click a team name to go to the team's page
- Click an owner's avatar to see all their objectives
This makes Overview a great starting point for exploring how work is organized across your company.
Best Practices
- Review Overview weekly to stay informed about company progress
- Use alignment to ensure team objectives connect to company goals
- Identify orphaned objectives (not aligned to anything) that might need review
- Share Overview in all-hands meetings to celebrate progress
