Members

Manage who has access to your workspace and what they can do. Access member management from Settings → Members or use the quick access "Invite and manage members" in the workspace dropdown.

Inviting Members

There are several ways to add new members to your workspace:

Email Invites

Send invitations directly to specific email addresses. Recipients will receive an email with a link to join your workspace.

  • Click "Invite Member" in the header
  • Enter one or more email addresses (comma-separated for multiple)
  • Choose a role (Member or Admin)
  • Optionally assign to a team
  • Click "Send Invites"
You can paste a list of emails separated by commas or newlines to invite many people at once.

Invite Links

Create a shareable link that anyone can use to join. This is useful for:

  • Large teams where individual emails are impractical
  • Sharing in Slack, email newsletters, or other channels
  • Time-limited open invitations

To create an invite link, leave the email field empty when creating an invite. The link will appear in your pending invites list where you can copy and share it.

Domain-Based Joining

Allow anyone with a matching company email domain to join automatically without an individual invite.

  1. Go to Settings → Workspace Settings
  2. Enable "Domain-based joining"
  3. Enter your company domain (e.g., acme.com)
  4. Save changes
For security, free email domains like gmail.com, yahoo.com, and outlook.com are not allowed. Only use this feature with your company's email domain.

Member Roles

Each member has a role that determines what they can do:

  • Owner — Full control including deleting the workspace. There can only be one owner.
  • Admin — Can manage teams, members, cycles, and workspace settings.
  • Member — Can create and manage their own objectives, key results, and check-ins.

Changing Roles

Owners can change any member's role:

  • Find the member in the members list
  • Use the role dropdown to select a new role
  • Changes take effect immediately

Admins can only change members to/from the Member role, not Admin.

Removing Members

Admins and owners can remove members from the workspace:

  • Find the member in the members list
  • Click the delete icon on the right
  • Confirm the removal
When a member is removed, their objectives and key results remain in the workspace. You should reassign them to new owners.

Members can also leave the workspace themselves.

Pending Invites

Invites that haven't been accepted yet appear in the "Pending Invites" section. From here you can:

  • Copy link — Get the invite URL to share
  • Delete — Revoke an invite before it's used

Invites expire after 7 days by default. Once used, they cannot be used again.
